Julia Isbutsky was my grandmother. Wife of my grandfather, Leopold Flam.  She loved to paint and she was quite independent.  She suffered greatly : her brother Herman Isbutsky, was beheaded by the Germans for his involvement in the Red Orchestra. Her grandparents were deported to Auschwitz. She was my beloved grandmother.
